There seems to be a lot of questions about the CVS Extra Care Bucks.
Here is an ExtraCare Overview :

The first thing you need to do is get your CVS card, if you don't already have one. All you have to do is tell the cashier you would like to apply for the CVS card. She will give you the paperwork and you can fill it out right there and get your new card immediately.


What is an Extra Care Buck: Basically they are CVS dollars you earn by purchasing products which they offer extra care bucks when buy that particular product. You can find out the products that apply by looking in the weekly CVS flyer and also in the store it is marked on the shelf in front of the item.


When you make your purchase your extra care bucks will printout right on your cash register receipt. They do have expiration dates so be sure to use them before they expire. You can use them just like money on your next purchase. They are not redeemable for alcohol, gift cards, lottery, money orders, prescriptions, postage stamps, pre-paid cards and tobacco products.



Here are examples of how you can earn extra care bucks:
1) Purchase items that offer extra care bucks.
2)Earn one buck for every 2 prescriptions purchased at the CVS pharmacy.
3)Earn 2% back on every purchase - Every 3 months your extra bucks will print on your store register receipt, or visit CVS online to print your extra care bucks.

To view your ExtraCare rewards, print Extra Bucks and to take advantage of convenient new online features, you will need to
Sign Up for an online account, and follow the steps to Attach an ExtraCare card.

If you already have a CVS.com account with an ExtraCare card attached, Sign In using your Email Address and Password. You will be able to view and print your ExtraCare rewards and access your ExtraCare account information
